Founded in 2023, Solena Collective is a research and learning studio partnering with small teams and community organizations to turn thoughtful ideas into work that makes a difference. We blend community-based research, light-touch evaluation, and equity-centered facilitation to bring clarity, evidence, and momentum to projects at any stage. Our approach is practical and relational: plain language instead of jargon, right-sized tools instead of heavy lifts, and timelines that respect real capacity. We design for accessibility from the start – materials with alt text and plain-language summaries, options for live captions or interpretation, and formats that meet people where they are.
We’ve supported partners to scope new initiatives, map stakeholders, craft usable indicators, and hold workshops that move decisions forward. Along the way, we center care as method — building trust, naming risks, and making room for reflection so learning sticks. Whether you’re shaping a grant, pressure-testing a pilot, or refreshing a course, we help you narrow the question, choose methods that fit, and leave with a clear next step and reusable templates. Think focused sprints to get unstuck, evaluation plans teams can actually maintain, and facilitation that lifts quieter voices while keeping outcomes in view.
Based in the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area and working across Canada, we collaborate with partners who value accountability, accessibility, and measurable learning. We offer fixed-fee packages with sliding-scale options for grassroots groups, and we’re happy to adapt our process to your context—virtual, hybrid, or in-person. If you’re looking for a steady, thoughtful partner who can make research usable without the busywork, we’d love to connect.
